Parent Education

At Circle of Friends, we rely on strong relationships with our families and our community.  These relationships ensure that each child has the best possible opportunities to succeed.  Through communication, we as a school strive to educate not only the children, but the parents as well.  Below is a list of some of the parent programs we have held in the past:

Parent / Toddler programs

Montessori and Brain Development

Jim Fay's Love & Logic Parenting Techniques

Family picnics and other fun social events

An Introduction to the Montessori Classroom

We hope to hold more of these programs in the coming year, and if you have any suggestions of things that you are interested in learning about, please let Kay or Jennie know, and we'll do it!

In addition to formal programs, we send out lots of informational articles in each monthly newsletter!  To see some of the past articles, please click on the title below that interests you.
